Project Overview.
Giffen was engaged by Fireweed Metals Corp. to conduct a desktop study to determine a path forward for the Airstrip North Camp, at the Macpass Project. Utilizing previous camp and utilities experience, successfully conducted several trade-offs on the type and size of camp and associated infrastructure needed until a firm scope was concluded. Once the options were selected, both the capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operating expenditures (OPEX) were developed to support the scope and present to Fireweed’s Exploration and Leadership Team.
Fireweed Metals 100% owns the Macpass Project that is located in eastern Yukon approximately 200 km from Ross River, near the Northwest Territories border and within the traditional territories of the Kaska Dena Nation and the First Nation of Na-cho Nyäk Dun. The Project is host to several large zinc-lead-silver deposits within the 940 km2 property, and is accessible via the North Canol Road and by air via the Macmillan Pass aerodrome.
