Project Overview.
The Green Bay Copper-Gold Project is a feasibility-stage development located in the Baie Verte district of northeastern Newfoundland. Giffen provided Owner’s Support to coordinate third-party engineering consultants and support delivery of the feasibility study within a defined execution schedule. Scope focused on project services, including integrated planning, cost tracking, and reporting to enable effective decision-making and alignment across all stakeholders.
Project Services: Development of an integrated Level 3 execution schedule, consolidation of multi-discipline consultant schedules, and ongoing schedule updates to track interdependencies and project progress.
Project Controls: Implementation of cost tracking systems, preparation of monthly project and cost reports, and monitoring of performance against budget and schedule.
Planning + Scheduling: Creation and maintenance of a centralized master schedule incorporating all project activities and long-lead equipment strategies.
Reporting: Preparation of weekly and monthly reports, including progress updates, discipline hours, schedule updates, and cost reporting to support stakeholders.
