Project Overview.
In 2023, BC Hydro and Giffen Consulting Ltd. entered into a five year Master Services Agreement to provide Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) Services. BC Hydro is one of Canada’s largest electric utilities providers.
Giffen’s services supported the conception, planning, and delivery of drawings and models for BC Hydro’s capital projects. Giffen is providing CADD Services work packages to cover generation, distribution, and transmission design projects to support BC Hydro’s engineering departments. Giffen’s strong use of 3D tools and systems are helping lead the teams at BC Hydro to digitize and use the next generation of tools and systems.
